Several months ago my daughter gave me this photo to make a layout with....and I'm just now getting around to it. The quote, "Most little girls are made of sugar and spice but me and my girls are made of vodka & ice" is from her.

I was checking my email and saw that someone had left a comment about the 'Precious Little Girl' layout on my blog....the comment was "and you forgot to mention that I took this picture dork".

Okay...I probably should have mentioned that Ashleigh took this picture but I'm not a dork...lol!

Reading

The last few days I haven't done much work on any of my layouts. The weather has been beautiful so I've been sitting out in the screen house reading. Yesterday I finished 'Final Scream' by Lisa Jackson and started 'Vanished' by Karen Robards which I finished tonight. Now I am trying to decide which book to read next...I have 'Abandon' by Carla Neggers and 'Almost Dead' by Lisa Jackson.

The weather forecast indicates that there is a 40 to 50 % chance of thunderstorms the next few days. If it rains I'll be inside and maybe I'll finally get a few layouts done!

Barefoot

I like to go barefoot...but after seeing this beetle I think I will start slipping on a pair of sandals when I go outside. This ugly guy was on the ground just outside the door...and, although it isn't obvious from the photo he is about 2 inches long!
